Mv: Anime Collection [Best of You]
If you know almost every single one of the animes shown in this video, then your one hcore Otaku. I, of course, may be one, but that doesn't mean I don't have a life. Right? Right?! xO
Anime: Paranoia Agent [Episode 01]

"夢の島思念公園 (Yume no Shima Shinen Kouen)" by Susumu Hirasawa
Ending Theme:
"Shiroi Oka - Maromi no Theme" by Susumu Hirasawa
So I have finally followed the crowd and started watching one of the best anime series directed by Satoshi Kon. This man has done absolutely amazing work! I'm sure you've heard of Paprika, Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, and Tokyo Godfathers. Yepp, that's all by him. And yes, if you haven't seen those, you definitely have to. (And I may do reviews on them later)
So of course, I have very high expectations of Paranoia Agent. And it seems like its living up to those expectations.
The anime starts off with a young woman named Tsukiko Sagi (who oddly reminds me of Osaka from Azumanga Daioh!). She is the famous designer of the cute little character named Maromi. So you may be thinking, "Oh damn, she is SO gunna get it." Well, yeah. That's pretty much it. After walking around -alone- at night, Tsukiko get's attacked by this shadow with a baseball bat. Ouch.
So thus, starts this whole shinanagins revolving around the attacker by the name of Shounen Bat (pretty much: Bat Boy). In the dubbed version they called him 'lil slugger', which just made me spit juice of out of my nose. Well besides that, this anime has major suspence and awesome character designs. The opening theme is absolutely awesome, and the ending is pretty freaky IMO. So I suggest that you go and start watching Paranoia Agent with me!
Oh and make sure it's the subbed version. Unless you want your drink spraying all over the place.

Megan's Review: Batman Hush
Now that I have that out of my system lets get to the point of why I'm here. Dearest Madison has created this rad blog, and out of the kindness of her heart, has asked if I would like to add some flavour to it. Being the wonderful person I am, and with a lack of anything better to do, I agreed.
So, Here I am, thinking of something to write about, when I look over at my book shelf. There sits my recent obsession. Batman Hush. THE Batman graphic novel that made my dreams come true. Jeff Loeb has done it again, mastered Batman. When I heard that his partner in crime, Tim Sale, wasn't drawing I must admit I was a little heart broken, those two make Batman like noone else, but Jim Lee definately makes up for it.
Mr.Lee is a pure genius, even his rough sketches made me wet. Once Scott Williams got the ink on there, it was if Niagra had burst in my loverly purple pants.
This comic is pure Batman through and through. With Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing in his past, Gotham is the Dark Knights once again. With apperances by some of my favorites baddies, and some other heroes (*cough* Superman *cough*) Batman attempts to find out who the hell, is after him. Some lurker in the shadows is wreaking havoc on Gotham, and becoming a real pain in Batmans ass. I really don't want to give too much away, so all I'll say is that it's epic, and to go buy the fucking book yourself and see what the hell this lunatic woman is talking about!
It's a 3 part series, and after finishing the 1st, I WANT MORE!
If your a Batman fan, this is a must read! If your not a Batman fan, read it, and realize what you've been missing out on, then throw yourself off of a bridge screaming for forgiveness for all of these Batmanless years.
Crazy out!
Oh, by the way, there is a LOOOOONG awaited kiss in this book, one I have waited for since I was 6 and realized that boys and girls were different.
